Exact PR is run by Jo Grobel, who has worked in the food and drinks industries for over 15 years, both in journalism and PR. She set up Exact PR in 2009 after seeing how valuable her journalism experience was to her many PR clients.
Having worked for many of the leading food and drinks titles which we now pitch stories to, we truly understand the titles’ agendas, and therefore how to deliver maximum coverage for clients and relevant information for journalists.
With our PR experience spanning some of the UK’s and the world’s top food and drinks brands, we also understand the importance of getting our clients’ key messages across effectively.
After reading English Literature at Exeter University Jo then did a post-graduate degree in Magazine Journalism at City University, the UK’s leading Journalism College. Jo has written for consumer titles such as the Evening Standard, the Guardian and lifestyle magazine Red. She has worked for leading food and drink trade titles including The Grocer, Convenience Store and The Morning Advertiser, where she was proud to gain her BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders.
Jo’s food and drink PR experience includes working with brands such as Westons Cider, Aspall Suffolk Cyder, Hayman’s Gin, Sunmagic Juices, Lost Rivers Brewing Company, DBC Foodservice, Snacking Essentials, The Village Press juice company, Harveys, Cockburn’s, Sauza, Teacher’s, Laphroaig, drinks distributor London Cellar, Little Creatures Pale Ale, the Young’s pub estate, and ZGM German wine supplier. Founding Exact PR was the natural progression for Jo, who saw how valuable her journalism experience was to her many PR clients.
